Thank you, thank you, for this how-to-pray and how-not-to-pray lesson from Judy Olson, CSB!

Special thanks to Judy Olson who gave us a private tour of the entire First Reader’s Residence during the Christmas/New Years holiday season 2015/2016.  It was a gift that meant the world to me during a very difficult time in my life.  I will always remember sitting and talking in the front parlor with her where Mrs. Eddy use to accept visitors.

Love was right there with us.  That gift was then followed up with the creation of this new website as another holiday gift during that same trip to Boston.  It is a gift that keeps on giving and growing as evidenced by data at the link below.

Thank you both from the deepest part of me.

Truth, Wisdom, Love and Sincerity, to ALL Mankind.

Spiritual Short

If I could email Daniel …

From the August 2016 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Judy Olson, C.S.B.

Dear Daniel,

You don’t know me, but I’m an admirer of yours. Just finished chapter 6 in your book, and I have to tell you how helpful the account of your lions’ den experience is to my own prayers. Even though we don’t hear about many thoughts of yours, except in verses 21 and 22, still, I know how important God and prayer are to you because, despite your high-powered job as one of the presidents of the kingdom, three times each day you stop everything to pray—to get your thoughts close to God. And it’s certainly paid off!

There you were—target of a vicious political conspiracy. Yet you kept your cool and didn’t react to evil, but responded with spiritual strength. For me, what you didn’t do is as important as what you did do. You were well aware of the conspirators’ plot.

You didn’t give up when you were thrown into the lions’ den.

What you did do was pray. And you weren’t hurt by the lions, because you believed in your God. That was enough. To me that says your prayer had to have been knowing God, loving Him, trusting Him with every thought.
