CNN, Joe Biden, Ellen Degeneres, Amnesty International, The New York Times and The State Department ALL Condemn Human Rights Abuses Against Gay Men in Chechnya.

Rob, aren’t those outdated, antigay articles on JSH Online contributing to this hatred and shame of LGBT people in Chechnya and around the world?

Now is the time for this hate speech to be challenged and to call for the removal of those harmful, antigay articles put out by the CSPS. This goes against the grain of Christian Science as Mrs. Eddy stated: ‘We take the inspired word of the Bible.’

The time is NOW. You must find a better way of getting your message out to the world.  Perhaps you need a publicist.

Chechnya: Stop Abducting and Killing Gay Men

Over a hundred men suspected of being gay are being abducted, tortured and even killed in the southern Russian republic of Chechnya according to credible sources inside the country.

The Chechen government won’t admit that gay men even exist in Chechnya, let alone that they ordered what the police call ‘preventive mopping up’ of people they consider to be undesirable.

We urgently need your help to call out the Chechen government on the persecution of people who are, as they put it, of ‘non-traditional orientation’ – and urge immediate action to ensure their safety.

Sign the petition now and urge the Russian and Chechen authorities to investigate these abductions and bring those responsible to justice.

U.N. Experts Condemn Killing and Torture of Gay Men in Chechnya

Ellen DeGeneresMatt Bomer and Billy Eichner are just three of the LGBTQ celebrities who are speaking out against reports that gay men are being detained, attacked and even killed in the Russian region of Chechnya.

On April 1, a Moscow-owned Russian opposition newspaper, Novaya Gazeta, cited federal law enforcement officials who said more than 100 gay men, ranging in ages from 16 to 50, had been detained  “in connection with their nontraditional sexual orientation, or suspicion of such.”
